Class Differences
In a small group use the internet to help you answer the questions,

Describe in
your own words “the culture of affluence”, “the culture of poverty”.
Culture of
affluence: Are improved cultures that have more power and money.
Culture of
poverty: is week culture with basic right and has no money or basics of live.
Define “social
stratification”.
Social stratification
is society levels of people that are different then each other with more power
and money.
Describe
India’s caste system as an example of social stratification.
India has 5
caste system first they have the farmers or the slaves then upperparts is the
normal people then the royalty then the king then the religion.
Describe South
Africa’s apartheid as an example of social stratification.
It’s based on 2
main things the first is the highest as the white guy and the lowest as the
black guy.
In your
opinion, what classes of people exist in the Emirates? How are they characterized?
In the Emirates
classes are a bit different from other countries we based on nationality were
the leaders on top then the meddle are Arabs and western people and the lowest
are Pakistan and India people.

What challenges
did you face?
A lot of challenges from dieses and
army and natural causes and many more.
What choices
did you have?
Not much, if you got the money will
be fine but if you didn’t you will let your people die.
What
temptations did you encounter?
Many from drought and health danger
and army invasion and poorness.
If it were your
real family instead of a computer game, would you have chosen differently?
Yes, I would be feeling what they
feel and think other then ideas that could help them more than doing a simple
choice.
What did you
learn about third world life?
That there are other people need of
our help and we sit doing nothing and we waste more food then we eat and spend
more money then we have for something that we don’t want or need.
